Celebrating the Past, Present and Future of Alumni Relations
In 1913, representatives of 23 colleges and universities met in Ohio to form the Association of Alumni Secretaries. Considered the first organization dedicated to the field of alumni relations, the AAS later merged with other groups to become the American Alumni Council, which in turn merged with the American College Public Relations Association to become CASE.
In 2013, CASE marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Association of Alumni Secretaries with programs, articles and events celebrating the past, present and future of alumni relations. Explore the history of alumni relations.
